A Black journalist in New York goes on the run from the police after publishing secret documents from a gene editing company. Written by Alfredo Gil and Illustrated by Mojo Wang, Hachimoji is a story about identity in a hectic world, power as it corrupts, and justice for the truth.
In over 200 full color pages, Volume 1 introduces Jamie and his mismatched friends who are unified in rebelling but divided in a purpose. We dive into the corporate beast determined to track them down while plagued by infighting. In this painstakingly crafted vision of 2042, our genes hold the key to our power.
